Transit Lounge Garden is located above Taxi Dining Room in Federation Square with a unique 9.8m elevation. The 134sqm open air balcony supplies the most spectacular views of the city skyline from the MCG to Docklands. In effect, this leaves Transit as the ideal location for entertaining international or interstate guests.

Continuing the legacy of award winning interior design already attained by Transport Public Bar and Taxi Dining Room, Transit Lounge has recycled timber floors and walls and is furnished with custom made cube couches with quilted black leather upholstery. The ceilings have exposed steel beams, the room is enveloped in fabric drapery and a cabaret style stage fills one corner.

Additionally, Transit now boasts a newly refurbished longer black marble bar for improved service and an even greater selection of top quality spirits.

Being a late night venue, Transit is a great place to visit after the theatre or concerts. It is within walking distance to the Melbourne Arts centre, ACMI, the Forum, all inner city theatres, Melbourne Park, and all city hotels.
